Ping Test Tool
Test the reachability and response time of a host
About HTTP Ping
This tool performs HTTP-based ping tests rather than traditional ICMP pings. It measures the time it takes to establish a connection and receive a response from the target server.

Learn more about pingWhat is Ping?
Ping is a network utility that tests the reachability of a host on an Internet Protocol (IP) network and measures the round-trip time for messages sent from the originating host to a destination computer and back.
How Ping Works
Traditional ping uses Internet Control Message Protocol (ICMP) echo request and echo reply messages to determine whether a remote host is active or inactive and to determine the round-trip time. Our web-based ping tool uses HTTP requests to simulate this functionality.
Response Time
The time it takes for a packet to travel from your computer to a server and back, measured in milliseconds (ms).
Packet Loss
The percentage of packets that don't reach their destination, indicating network congestion or issues.
Interpreting Results
- Under 50ms: Excellent latency
- 50-100ms: Good latency
- 100-300ms: Average latency
- Over 300ms: Poor latency
