Pip Flap
Tap to fly Pip through the cables. A free one-button game for phones and computers, with an easy mode and rewards for Pip.
Tap, click, or press Space or the up arrow to flap. Press P to pause.
How to play
- Flap by tapping or clicking the game, or pressing Space or the up arrow. Each flap lifts Pip a little, and gravity pulls Pip back down.
- Fly through the gaps between the cables. Every pair you pass scores a point.
- Touching a cable or the ground ends the run. The ceiling only stops Pip, it doesn't hurt.
- Pause with the button or the P key. The game also pauses by itself if you switch tabs, and counts you back in when you return.
Rewards for Pip
- Reach 10 cables to earn the Ace flyer sticker and aviator goggles for Pip.
- Reach 25 cables to earn the Sky high sticker and a propeller cap.
In easy mode the targets are 15 and 38, so the rewards stay within reach. Open Pip's speech bubble and choose Dress Pip to wear what you've earned. In the game, Pip also wears the color you picked.
Easy mode, sound, and motion
Easy mode makes the gaps wider and the cables slower. Sound is off until you switch it on. If your device is set to reduce motion, the game turns off screen shake, particles, and the drifting background.
Fair play
Every cable layout in the game can be cleared. We checked this with a computer-controlled player that flew thousands of random layouts without crashing. The gaps start wide and narrow slowly as your score grows, and the cables speed up a little. Nothing is random in a way that could trap you.
Who it suits
Pip Flap needs sight and quick reactions, so it isn't for everyone. If you'd like something calmer, try IP or Not?, a daily quiz with no timer that works with a keyboard and a screen reader.
