A clearer showcase of our best tools
The featured tools on the home page now show a preview of what you'll see, including the before-and-after of a fix, and each card shows what kind of tool it is.
- New
Our best tools, up front on the home page
The home page now shows our most useful tools right under your IP address, led by the family internet check, so you don't have to hunt for them.
- New
Settings and Quiet mode
You can now switch off anything that runs on its own: Pip's unprompted speech, the live connection graph, automatic diary readings, IP memory, the monthly reminder, and saving pages for offline use. One Quiet mode switch turns them all off. The page also lists everything saved on your device, with a clear button for each.

This page
Every update will be listed here, in plain words. A small dot beside "What's new" in the footer shows when there's something you haven't seen.
- Fixed
The DNS check no longer cries wolf
A failed DNS test was reported as "websites can't be found" even when everything else worked. That test only checks whether two public DNS services can be reached, and a VPN, an ad blocker, or a firewall can block it. The family check and Fix my internet now explain this honestly, and the family check tells you when someone is on a VPN, because a VPN makes every other number describe the VPN.

Check a family member's internet
Send a parent or friend a link. They press one button, and you see their speed, how steady their connection is, what's wrong in plain words, and what to ask them to try. After a fix they can tap the same link again, and you'll see whether it helped. Nothing is installed, and their IP address is never shared. Links expire after a day, and results are deleted after six hours.
- New
Proof for your provider
Turn a week of connection readings into a printable report and a ready-to-send message for your internet provider. It tells you honestly when your readings don't show a problem, instead of inventing one.
- New
Wi-Fi map
Walk around your home and test each room. See where your Wi-Fi gets weak on a simple map, with tips to fix it, and retest after a change to see whether it helped.

- New
