Roblox is an online platform for playing and creating games. When Roblox stops loading, the question is always the same: is the service down for everyone, or is the problem on your side? The check above visits roblox.com right now from Cloudflare's network, so you get an answer in a few seconds.

If Roblox is up but not working for you

Restart the Roblox app or launcher and look for an update, because many launch errors clear after one.
The store, login, and game servers can fail separately, so one part may work while another doesn't.
Switch your DNS to 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8 if only Roblox fails to load while other sites work.
Still stuck? Run our connection troubleshooter. It measures your connection and points to the most likely cause.

Official status

Roblox publishes its own status page: Roblox Status. If it lists an incident, that confirms the problem is on Roblox's side.

Common questions

Is Roblox down for everyone or just me?

Our check visits roblox.com from a Cloudflare server, far away from your connection. If it answers there but not for you, the problem is most likely your Wi-Fi, internet provider, DNS, VPN, or the app. If it doesn't answer there either, Roblox is probably down for many people. A single check can be wrong, so try again in a minute before you decide.

Why is Roblox not working?

The usual causes are Roblox having a real outage or maintenance, your Wi-Fi or internet provider, a DNS problem, a VPN or ad blocker, an out-of-date app or browser, or the wrong date and time on your device. Work through the steps above from the easiest to the hardest.

What does "up, but blocking checks" mean?

Some large sites refuse requests that come from servers rather than ordinary browsers. If the check says the site responded but blocked it, the site is almost certainly working, and the check just can't see more than that.

Where is the official Roblox status page?

Roblox publishes one: Roblox Status. It is the best place to see confirmed incidents and updates.
