Zoom is a video meeting service. When Zoom stops loading, the question is always the same: is the service down for everyone, or is the problem on your side? The check above visits zoom.us right now from Cloudflare's network, so you get an answer in a few seconds.

If Zoom is up but not working for you

Join from your phone on mobile data to find out whether your Wi-Fi is the problem.
Make sure the Zoom app is updated and that your browser allows camera and microphone access.
Before important calls, share a phone dial-in number or a backup meeting link.
Still stuck? Run our connection troubleshooter. It measures your connection and points to the most likely cause.

Official status

Zoom publishes its own status page: Zoom Status. If it lists an incident, that confirms the problem is on Zoom's side.

Common questions

Is Zoom down for everyone or just me?

Our check visits zoom.us from a Cloudflare server, far away from your connection. If it answers there but not for you, the problem is most likely your Wi-Fi, internet provider, DNS, VPN, or the app. If it doesn't answer there either, Zoom is probably down for many people. A single check can be wrong, so try again in a minute before you decide.

Why is Zoom not working?

The usual causes are Zoom having a real outage or maintenance, your Wi-Fi or internet provider, a DNS problem, a VPN or ad blocker, an out-of-date app or browser, or the wrong date and time on your device. Work through the steps above from the easiest to the hardest.

What does "up, but blocking checks" mean?

Some large sites refuse requests that come from servers rather than ordinary browsers. If the check says the site responded but blocked it, the site is almost certainly working, and the check just can't see more than that.

Where is the official Zoom status page?

Zoom publishes one: Zoom Status. It is the best place to see confirmed incidents and updates.
