Your diary is saved only in this browser. Nothing is sent to us. Checks are added when you run them here or in the troubleshooter, and a quick response-time check is added when you visit the home page.
Internet problems that come and go are the hardest to fix, and the hardest to prove to your provider. Your network diary quietly builds a record each time you check: response time, steadiness, speed, and your IP address. Over days and weeks, patterns appear, like a connection that slows down every evening.
How to use it
- Run a check now, then again at different times of day, especially when things feel slow.
- Look at the insights above the chart once you have a few checks.
- If your provider asks for proof, download the CSV file and send it with your complaint.
Is it private?
Yes. The diary is stored in your browser's local storage on this device only. We never receive it. Clearing your browser data, or the "Clear diary" button, deletes it.
